Neuromuscular Therapy NMT
NMT is a specialized form of soft tissue manipulation that focuses on addressing the root causes of acute or chronic pain by targeting and working with the muscular and nervous systems, and connective tissues
NMT aims to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy involves a range of treatments like exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques to help with pain management, and/or recovery from injury or illness.
Physical Therapy aims to enhance physical ability, improving balance, mobility, and strength.
Integrative Dry Needling
Dry needling is a western medical physical therapy treatment that inserts thin, solid filament needles into myofascial trigger points, tight muscle bands, or neurogenic inflammation sites to relieve pain and restore movement
IDN is used in conjunction with other therapy modalities to treat neck pain and back pain, shoulder pain and rotator cuff issues, tendonitis and tendinopathy e.g., achilles, tennis elbow, headaches and migraines, sciatica and muscle spasms, repetitive strain and sports-related overuse injuries, etc.
Orthopaedic Sports Massage
Sports massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to address the unique needs of athletes and active individuals
It focuses on enhancing athletic performance, preventing injuries, and promoting faster recovery from physical activity.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
This therapeutic technique uses slow, rhythmic stretching of the skin to move excess lymph fluid away from swollen areas and back toward the body's central processing nodes.
It is widely used to manage lymphedema, speed up recovery from sports injuries or plastic surgery, and aid with chronic conditions like fibromyalgia or arthritis
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage that uses firm pressure and slow, deliberate strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue (fascia)
It's often used to address chronic pain, muscle knots, and restricted movement, particularly in areas like the neck, back, and shoulders
Kinesiology Taping
K-taping is a therapeutic technique that applies flexible cotton strips to the skin to support muscles and joints without restricting movement.
We use kinesiology tape to help with pain relief, to increase circulation, to assist the drainage of fluids reducing inflammation and brusing, and for muscle and joint support.
Sports Strapping and Taping
Strapping and Taping techniques can help improve injury as well as protect athletes from re-injury whilst returning to sport. The role of the tape is to limit or prevent excess or abnormal movement in an injured joint. Taping also provides support to the muscles surrounding the joint that may be under additional strain due to the injury.
Used pre, intra, and post-sporting events to protect athletes post-injury to prevent re-injury or further injury.
